Hell of the South Race

28 February 2010 No Comment

The race will help kick off the TBRA Racing Calendar for 2010.  Paris Roubaix, affectionately known as Hell of the North, is one of cycling’s oldest, toughest and most popular one-day races.  We bring this ‘Queen of the Classics’ infamy to Maury County.  We’ve replaced the cobbles of Northern France with good ol’ fashioned Middle Tennessee country roads for a torturous day on the bike and soul.  The route will include a dirt road section and plenty of rough pavement.  Be prepared to handle the only true Classics-style race in Tennessee!

If this description doesn’t spark your interest as a participant you should at least show up as a spectator.  Plus, Swiftwick is hosting a Ride for Reading book drive!  Bring any of your new or used children’s books!
