DGD II is going to be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Lock 4 mountain bike trail in Gallatin, TN! Put it on your calendars this is one race you do not want to miss!
The entry fee is $25 early registration and $30 day of, but that gets you a one of a kind DGD II shirt and the opportunity to win a ton of schwag!
Each paying participant will be registered to win a Surly 1X1 frameset and free labor to build the bike bonated by Nashville Bicycle Lounge! Additional tickets will be sold for $5 each!!!
Trek Bikes will be in attendance with a fleet of Trek bikes that you can ride before, after, and/or during the race!!
Plus, the funds raised will help to continue Ride for Reading’s mission of promoting literacy and healthy living through the distribution of books via bicycle to children from low-income areas!

Dirt, Guts, and Donuts 2009
Click photo to see event pictures of DGD 2009Our inaugural charity mountain bike ride Dirt, Guts, and Donuts was held on September 12, 2009 at Lock 4 mountain bike trail in Gallatin, Tennessee. With over 70 riders, 300 Krispey Kremes, 500 donated books, one rider in the lake, and over $1500 raised, the ride was an amazing success! We are expecting even bigger things for Dirt, Guts, and Donuts 2010! Stay tuned…
